Need the Best Double Stroller for Baby and Tall Toddler?
Hi, I am pregnant and when I have the baby, my son will be 2 1/2 years old. He’s on the tall side so I have to pay close attention to height limits on strollers…most of the time, toddler strollers won’t last long for my tall toddler. Do you know of a great double stroller I can use for my newborn and toddler?
I noticed most sit and stands have a 40 inch height limit
Get a sit and stand so your son isn’t limited in height and can get down and walk. They are also much shorter so you can navigate through doors and shopping areas easier.
I would just sit himin the fron of a back to back stroller. there usually aren’t canopies in the front. They also have those strollers that have a seat attached on the back witha seatbelt. Graco and peg perego are good and durable brands. Ther is the sit and stand, but he is awfully young to stand all of the time at his age. maybe just put the baby in a sling and get a good single stroller for the time being. the height limits mean nothing if you take off the canopy.
i agree with the second answer. just take of the canopy if you have too. but i have a graco duoglider and my tall 3 1/2 year old fits just fine under the canopy with lots of room to spare. she is in the 85% for her age
I have a sit n stand, and I don’t see why there would be any height limit. When you’re in the standing (or sitting) position, there’s nothing over the childs head to bump it on. He may have to duck to step into it, but it’s not that big of an issue. My shorty of a toddler has to bend down a little to get in, but then there’s nothing blocking overhead.
I did so much research when I bought my double stroller. I ended up buying a Bumble Ride and just love it. If you want a side by side that handles beautifully, has plenty of storage, snack cups, and looks good I’d highly recommend it!
Even though sit and stand strollers have limit per say, it will be your best bet since other strollers will be too small for me since he’s on the taller side
hope this helps
