Double Seat Strollers

I’m the proud mommy of two handsome boys (both singletons). My husband and I are going to have twins. I’ve never taken care of twins before. However I am so excited to be a mom again. BTW: We won’t be breast feeding, co-sleeping, or cloth diapering

We already have: 1 arms reach co-sleeper, 2 electric swings, 2 cribs, 2 organic crib mattresses, 3 bouncy seats, Angel care Monitors, baby monitors, white noise makers, block out drapes, night lights, 4 boppy pillows, 6 or 7 miracle blanket swaddlers, several baby baths, tons of clothing for both sexes, every stimulating toy you can think off, a double stroller, 4 or 5 car seats, safety kits, gates, baby care item kits, a ton of stuff that I can’t remember off of the top of my head.

How did you prepare for your multiple birth? What did you find useful and unnecessary?

I would prefer side by side. I’m thinking of getting the baby jogger performance series but i don’t know if it’s too much of a hassle. i’ve also seen good review for the graco side by side one.

We recently had twins. We purchased a swan double snap n’ go stroller off craigs list. It didn’t come w/ a manual or anything. We have graco infant car seats. I don’t know how to adjust the bars to fit the graco seats. Anyone ahve this model that could help me out?

Also- know where I can buy a replacement strap?

I have a very soon to be 3 year old and I am due in the very beginning of April with my second baby. I am looking into double stroller and not sure what is a better idea; the side by side stroller or the front and back stroller (with the sit and stand feature)

I think the side by side is nice because they will be close to each other and can play and share snacks and such and would be great for family vacations and all but I was thinking if I was at the mall or something with the kids I won’t fit around very easily with the side by side so maybe the front and back is a better idea. Also I like the sit and stand feature because my son is almost 3 and may like the option of standing.

Any advice on someone who has done this??

I am looking for a stroller for a newborn and a baby. The seat for the newborn needs to be able to go all the way flat. Which stoller is a good one?
I dont want a side by side. We have a big SUV so space shouldnt be a problem

I just bought this EXPENSIVE 2011 baby jogger city mini double stroller (crimson/gray) and cant store it up right! It doesnt fold as easy as the single city mini and it doesnt stay in an upright position, the stroller opens itself when i put it in a upright position. It comes with a TINY strap that says storage strap ( so im assuming you use that to tighten it so it can stay upright), but the strap is sooooo short its not even funny. I did strap it down but the tiny short velcro strap opens up and there it goes again…wide open!!! can anyone help me? maybe im doing something wrong? any feedback is greatly appreciated. this was a very expensive stroller 429.00 a long term investment and i want something that works!!! i just got it 2 days ago and im already stressed out by it =(

4 crib sheets
2 packages of 84 diapers
1 huge package of wipes
2 car seats
breast pump
breast cream
nursing pads
2 nursing bras(just to start-I’m going to get more later)
9 bottles
8 bibs(4 per baby)
8 burp cloths
baby wash
baby washcloths

Is there anything I forgot? I decided not to get the infant bathtub and was thinking of just sterilizing the sink then washing them in there.

Do I really need to get the twin stroller right now? Can I wait on that for a few months? Thanks.
Actually I think I am going to go back and get 2 more packages of diapers which would give me four.

I now have a 06 Honda pilot. I love it. Has alot of room better than my honda civic. Especially when you have twin babies and you have to take apart the stroller to get it in the car. Anyway, I want to get a ford expedition but then I want to get a newer Pilot. I want both but then I have my reasons for choosing one over the other. Pilot cheaper, will be newer, maybe better gas miledge. The expedition bigger for more kids. What would be the better deal here. I want both but want this to be my last car for a while.
