Just found out we have twins on the way and now we need a new vehicle! Our son will be 3 when the babies come, so I will have 2 infant seats and a convertible booster seat. The option of 3rd row seating would be nice for a few years from now, but we’re going to need the cargo space to haul around a big stroller first. So…I need to be able to put all 3 car seats in the 2nd row. We will probably look for something used. 4WD or AWD is a must (I live in Central NY)! Any suggestions?!?

So far I have 10 baby bottles. 2 packs of diapers, in two different sizes. 4 packs of pampers wipes and 4 packs of huggies wipes. a couple sets of clothes, in different sizes, premature, tiny baby and newborn.

We recently had twins. We purchased a swan double snap n’ go stroller off craigs list. It didn’t come w/ a manual or anything. We have graco infant car seats. I don’t know how to adjust the bars to fit the graco seats. Anyone ahve this model that could help me out?

Also- know where I can buy a replacement strap?

Here are a few personal family clips staring Baby Peyson over the past 2 weeks She is becoming more alert as the days pass so currently it’s a big treat for the whole family to see her eyelids opened! ha ALL THREE CHILDREN ARE REAR FACING These are Sunshine Kids Radian XT SL car seats-Flora, Petal, Bently are the fabric styles. This seat for Peyson is safer than any new infant car seat carrier we have. The main feature of an infant car seat carrier is how it’s removable & that feature for us is pointless anyways so we just don’t use one. We don’t leave our baby’s in car seats as we babywear so she is constantly on my chest or in my arms..even when we go out to eat. That also means we don’t use strollers w/ her as I prefer her to be on my chest. I find it easier this way since we breastfeed anyways. I prefer this seat over other convertible seats as it is designed for extended rear facing As for my toddlers no their legs don’t bother them as they have never complained. They either cross their legs, hang them over the side and/or even prop them upwards on the seat in front of them. Remember in a crash broken legs can be repaired but a broken spine/neck may not! The new safety suggestions are to keep children remaining rear facing beyond the age of 1, a minimum of 2 years until the they meet the safety requirements of their particular seat in the rear facing position which vary from seat to seat so make sure you check your own guidelines.

I start nannying for twin girls next month. They are 3 months old. I have nannied for one newborn before, and I’ve done it for other sets of twins, but never every day nannying. I will have a car and be able to run errands or take them out with me, but I’m wanting to get advice from parents of twins.

How do you take them out by yourself? Is a double stroller easy enough for you? Or do you use a regular stroller and a baby sling/carrier? I’m sure I’d figure it out eventually with experience but just wanted to see if anyone had any helpful suggestions. Thanks!

Hola!I am a stayat home mom to a 3 in a half year old and 10 month old twins.(noah and gracey)And there are days when hubby is gone @ work and im going nuts!Id like to know what other moms think is a typical day at home with kids, what do you guys do all day?Do u have structure and routine and how do u disipline your children?I use time outs but it seems like its not working!!!Also, any ideas for stuff to do at home with kids when were all bored?Any tips on anything would help!My days are so unplanned and crazy that ITS crazy!!babies also crawling now. whoa…hard to keep up!nd its hard hauling them all to the park, all together. load them all up, then the food and stroller, ect. by the time im done just that i need a nap!!
(Parents to multiples)How do u deal with them when they are BOTH FUSSY and balling at onced to be held or want rocked to sleep?what about there sleeping?do they share a room?crib? allright, sorry so long.im so stresed sometimes!=)any advice would be nice.take care

Were you on bed rest? How many babies did you have? Did you use fertility treatments to get pregnant? How old were you when you got pregnant (I’m 36 btw)? How did you feed your babies at the same time? Did you have any help for the first few months? Did you hire anyone to help you? Where did you buy your stroller for your multiple births? Did you use cloth or disposable diapers? IF you used cloth, which ones worked the best for you? Do you recommend a specific formula? Did you have your babies sleep together for comfort? Do you have any ways of being able to help prevent a premature birth (before 36 weeks)?

The reason why I’m asking all of these questions is because I’m going to start fertility treatments in the fall. My chances of having a mulitple birth are higher with my age, and because I have twins in my family.

Any other advice would be welcome.
Edit: I do have one son who is 5. He was concieved with a drug called Femara/Letrozole. It took me 12 years to get pregnant with my son. He was born at 33 weeks 5 days. NO explanation as to why he was born so early. Weve been trying on our own for nearly 2.5 years. This is a last ditch effort before we pursue adoption.
I do have PCOS, but even the doctors told me I should have gone full term with him.
